i have a 1990 chevy silverado with the 5.7 350. i havea coolant leak so i'm puting new head gaskets on and i was wondering if i put vortec head on the motor if it would do anything for me as of horse power or gas mileage? or will it do absolutly nothing for me? and i was alsowondering if they would fit on there just fine or would i have to change other things? thanks alot guys your comments help out great.

 

The Vortec Heads will bolt up to the block but unfortunetly your intake manifold won't bolt up to them.
