Default Want to know what broke.

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado z71. I was driving home from work lastnight and hit a pothole or something in the road and something
broke under my front end to cause the front left fender to be sitting on top of my tire. cant drive the truck because the tire is rubbing the fender. BTW im not a mechanic by no means so this could be an easy answer to some of you. what could this be? What do I need to look for? I looked underneath the truck and cant obviously tell if anythings broke. once again im not a mechanic so I don't really know what to look for.

Welcome to the forum...
things that come to mind are:
that the lower shock mount blew out
the coil spring broke

Is the wheel still sitting for the most part straight? if so the upper and lower control arms are probably okay..

My bet is the lower shock mount is loose or blown out....
