warranty question
Ok, so i have a 09 silverado i just bought, and of course it has the 10year 100 thousand mile warrenty.. But my understanding is that if i touch the truck at all, IE power programmer, exhaust, intake, ( the 2" level kit i already put in) shhhhh.. LOL will void my warranty? does anyone have any insight on this, i know the power programmer you can just put back to stock before you take it to the dealer but. i also want to do hids, bigger tires. ect.. but for 10years or 100thousand miles i can't touch it?? WTF!!!!

I thought it was a 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty (engine trans, transfercase and differentials) and a 3 year 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. Either way if you were to put hid lights on it should only void the warranty on the lighting system if you had a probelm with the system. Unauthorized modification only void the warranty on the system it is affecting.
