Default Water Damage - 2004 Silverado 1500 Reg Cab

Newbie here,
I just purchased this truck and after the fact I found out my carpeting was wet on my driver side. After further review I pulled back my carpeting and found my floor board is rusted through. I need some advise about where the water is coming from. It looks like its coming from the front window and running down behind the dash. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I love the truck and can fix the floor board but I need to find out where the water is coming in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Kevin

When my 93 Sub did this I thought windshield, but turned out to be body seam below windshield and under quarter panel. Removed old putty, cleaned to bare metal re-sealed & paint. Good 5+ years later - btw took me a few weeks to find it - pressurized the interior with big fan and found it with soap water making bubbles on the seams.

Thank you Rednucleus. How did you get at the body seam? From the inside or outside?
