Default Weird Noise

I have a 2000 Silverado. theres a weird scraping/metal rubbing noise coming from the back driver side. Could this possibly be the clip from the parking brake shoe breaking and making noise back there? I've seen where this is a problem with some of the older years.

If so is this an easy do-it-yourself fix?

yes get a friend to stand around and drive by. they will tell you which side of the vehicle and more about the noise could be just a rock stuck in the rock guard (between the disk and guard)

yea also maybe jack it and spin the wheel by hand so you know where the noise is. you should be able to tell if it's the break or bearing that way.
