speaking of 3" i have a combo on my blazer that i really like, it is 2.5" from header to muffler (for the back pressure) then to 3" dynomax then out the back through flowmaster tail pipes i really like this combination, it has a nice low rumble at idle and at low rpm it doesnt attract the cops attention, but hammer on it and it sends a braaap in the air that is only supassed by a friend of mine with backwards cherry bombs and strait pipes, it is mellow enough on the the highway so as you dont need ear plugs (been there done that) even till 3k rpm it isnt loud untill pressed on it is the best of both worlds for what i was looking for

and if going with flowmaster just remember it will probly add 40 lbs of wieght and make sure to repaint them, they rust fast it only took 4 years on my malibu and only 1 winter stored outside for mine to have rust on them, but man are they tough as hell, i blew the rearend in my malibu (c-clips fell out) and i had to pick up my car with all the wieght of the back end sitting on the flowmasters and it barely put a small dent in them!

hey jurrster, have you ever thought about putting cutouts on? you can mount them before the cats....or after and then when you hit the switch, you will get about as loud of exhaust as you can possibly handle, just wanted to throw that out there

i have a 1996 chevy k1500 extended cab bone stock with a 350 vortec and true duals which i want to keep but i was looking to see if anyone knew how to make it obnoxiously loud like where it sounds like you're standing right next to it from 3 miles away metaphorically?

Hey Cameron, welcome to the forum. Rather than posting in a 10 yr old thread, start a new one, you will get more reads. BTW sure hope you are not a close neighbor!
