I have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 with a missing radio. It has a cd player in the center console under the ac controls. I'm not sure what kind of radio I need. I think this one is it but could someone confirm this for me?

They are all pretty much the same, I don't see why that one wouldn't work.

 

It sounds like my setup. I also have a 99 Silverado with the lower CD player and the radio on top with the cassette player. If I'm not too late posting this make sure the seller has the lock code, if one has been put in, otherwise it won't work without that code. If no code has ever been put in there should be no problem. My pickup has never had a code put in so when I put in a new battery I didn't have to mess with any codes I just had to program in my stations and set the clock.
