Hey everyone,

I am new to the board but I have had my 2005 Silverado 1500 for almost 2 years now. It is an Extended Cab with a short bed. It is a 2wd truck but has torsion bars like some of the 4x4 silverado have. I didnt notice that until I decided to take the 6 inch body lift the owner had on it before off. I dont know if it is a LS or a LT. It has the 5.3 V8 in it also. It was difficult to find the suspension components to take the lift off as the front had the torsion bars and no struts or springs and the rear had leaf springs like any other 1500. Any input on what I drive would be greatly appreciated.

 

In the General Tech section there is a thread called "please look up my vin" you can post your vin# and ShawnVW will give you the build info.
