What size tires will fit 04 silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4

what size tires will fit my 04 silverado 4x4 crew cab 1500?
currrently have 245/75/16 on it now. im thinking 265/75/16? or bigger? whats a safe bet if i order tires online?

285/75/16 is what I had on my 01 z71 at stock height at it didn't rub. if it does then just crank on the torsion keys a little till they clear. no big deal

I've got 265/70/17's on my 1500....

My 2004 has 265/70R17 tires......but it is only a 2wd. A previous owner replaced the factory 16" rims with Z71 wheels. Woot!

The truck looks like a 4x4 and sits a bit taller, but I pay for it at the pump.
