I have an 06 Silverado and have been wanting a straight pipe on my truck for a while now but I cant because its illegal. im wondering what a loud alternative to a straight pipe would be? I want it to growl like a straight pipe at least a little bit. I know there I can always get a glass pack but they don't put out the mean growl sound straight pipes do.

 

Dynomax bullet is bout it. But those are pretty similar to glasspacks

Go look on youtube at flowmaster 10 series. I have that on my truck. It is a very small muffler and I tell you I think it sounds so mean and loud. It is flowmasters loudest exhaust and it is not a glass pack. I don't think you will be disappointed with the sound, especially if you go true dual like I wish I would have. Either way its loud, but sounds mean and good at the same time.
