Default My fuel milage

Just bought a used 2007 Silverado 1500 V6 4.3L longbed work truck. Has 85,000 miles. With the AC on the best I calculated is 19.1 MPG. Bummer!

I have never been impressed with the 4.3 on gas mileage. So 19 is pretty much what I would expect from one. My 5.0 will get 19 if I keep my foot out of it. So I will say 16-19 is average for me. The problem I've had with the 4.3 when I drove it was it gets almost the same mileage as a v8.

My Silverado gets a solid 15.6 highway. But hey, when you have 295/85s like I have, you deserve bad gas mileage. lol

2000 Z71 5.3, 3" body lift, 305/60 16 tires and I get 12 mpg! I just changed plugs from Bosch Platinum +4 (which suck IMO) to AC Delco Iridium I can tell a difference in power but gotta check gas mileage now!

1998 K2500 Silverado 7.4L, professionally tuned, leveled with torsion bars, 16" rims, 285/70 A/T tires, and I get around 12-13 highway with 93 Octane, and around 10 or less in the city.

She's a hog, but I love her.

I don't drive my Silv daily. I drive the Blazer because its much less of a pain in the pocket. I do drive it whenever I'm working on the Blazer.
