any info on why my 08 2500 has terrible wheel hop when it spins on ice or snow and what can be done about it

 

get some traction bars...or ladder bars

 

just don't spin the tires...lol, check your rear spring pack for bad bushings cracked broken or missing leaves and if everything is in good shape a set of ladder bars would certainly cure the problem, wheel hop is caused my axle wrap. also do you have a lift on the truck rear lifting blocks can certainly intensify wheel hop. if you have rear blocks take them out and replace the springs with true lift springs.
