i have a 2004 silverado and my check engine light came on and got code p0156. side back 2 sensor 2 is bad. im assuming its passenger side behind cat. am i correct? also, im located in kansas city, mo, does anyone know who can rebuild the speedometer on my truck?

ur right on the sensor, but if ur speedo is bad its easier to just go to the junk yard and get another instrument panel cluster. Only takes bout 20 min to change out. Dash cover pops off. Then a couple screws allow cluster to be pulled out. Unplug the wiring harness from back then put the other one in.

A bad converter will also cause this code. Speedometer is electronic, so not much rebuilding can be done.

Labor to rip out the intake and injection rails, gaskets, new knock sensors, dealer diagnostics charges. And reassembly.

Basically, they get you for the cost of a shortblock for useless sensors which "need replacing".

Must be our lucky day!
