Default Will it fit?

Will the TBI unit off a 1989 fit on my 1995? I found one for twenty bucks and it would not hurt to have a spare!

Yes and no pre 1990 has a throttle cam 1990-1995 are the exact same. It will bolt on but I am not sure if you will be able to hook up the cables.

I figure it will work. How does the top of your air cleaner on your stock one fit on? Is it two wingnuts or one? What about the one you are looking at? Is it one or two? For some reason I'm thinking the 94 and 95 tbi had two wingnuts and the pre 94 was only one. Don't know if that will affect anything but thought I would add it anyway.

It will bolt on but the throttle linkage is different and the plug connector for the tps is different, the top half will be the same and you could swap lots of parts.

So basically the only thing the same is the injector pod? The linkage is not removable?
