window problem
Ok so I just bought my 02 1500. I noticed and I'm having really bad wind sounds coming from my driver door seals. I put it through the car wash to see how the seals were and I got trained on obviously. I checked both the trogth and the seal and they both look decent. Neither one is cracked and identical to the passenger side. What the heck is causing this. It's there a way to adjust the door? Or maybe roll the top safely to make a better seal? Had anyone had this problem?

If you have the 4 door extended cab you can absolutely adjust it. There door latches on the top and bottom of the door jam you need to open both sets of doors ( front and back ) and you can loosen the latches and slide them towards the inside of the truck. If it a standard cab I believe the process is the same just different location my extended cab had the same issue and that was how I fixed mine also made the cab much quieter on the highway. Good luck

Yea it's a4 door extended. But I will definitely try that especially before I try to roll the top of the door lol. Thanks for the help. Yea road noise on the highway is just god awful. Sounds like I'll be in a wind tunnel lol

in my 04' silverado, I have a very bad air leak on my drivers side. I locked the keys in my truck in a very rural area. the only way I could get in was by prying the door enough to get a wire down inside. had a air leak ever since. its possible someone has done the same with yours.
thanks 1982 dean, I'm going to try that with mine as well.
