Exclamation wiring info 09 Silverado

On my last truck(a Dodge) there was a a secondary plug under the rear of the truck. It was a 4 wire plug like you would use on a boat trailer..etc. I was wondering if chevy does this on the thier trucks. I am wanting to add a LED lightbar and need it to plug in so i dont have to cut wires. I looked breifly but did not see one. thanks for any help!

you should still have something under the the bumper. You may have to buy an extenstion to plug in under the bed and run to the bumper. If you dont have a trailer light hookups under the bed somewhere, then Chevy kinda screwed up on that one, in my opinion.

Not sure if you found your answer yet, but have you checked in your glove box? I know with my Tahoe, Chevy included a 4 wire ADAPTER that plugs into the 7 wire plug on your hitch...if you don't have this, Iam sure your local dealer would be happy to sell you one. Otherwise, you could probably make your own if you are decent with wiring...
