Im a flowmaster fan to be honest they sound really low and not to to loud (unless the 10 or race!)

As long as you have the same size in and out you should be fine. 2 at 2in dia is the same a 1 at 4 in. The single pipe mufflers are usually bigger hole diameter

On my 07 Dodge, it had a 3in exhaust. I ran SI/DO. 3in single in, dual 2.5in out. I only did it for the looks of having dual exhaust. Added 4in stainless tips. Didnt hurt anything performance wise.

normally id suggest getting two mufflers, both being 1 in and 1 out but if you want to keep it from getting to loud your best bet is going with 2 in and 2 out
