I found an 82 Chevy Silverado with 173k miles for 1k. It's beat up but nothing really so far that bothers me. Rusty needs tires exhaust work and a smaller power steering belt, Newer fuel pump new radio and speakers.needs tires. Please let me know what you guys think and what to look out for thank you.

Well, if it drives, and 4x4 works, depending on what you want to do with it. trucks here retain a decent value. I'd be leary of the electrical from what I see.

 

I'm just looking to use it as a work truck and gave 4x4 on hand when needed what about the electrical should I be on the look out for.

Well, wires hanging, all throughout the cab.

 

Easy truck to work. Worth 1000 all day. The electric is simple on it to. Ant those wires just look like add ons like after marked gauges. Just clean it up. Good work truck.
