Default Leaking Headliner

Tonight I run to my car during rainy weather...as I'm pulling away a stream of water literally comes pouring out of my overhead remote buttons....it could've easily been half a cup.....down onto my console.
Wth....this has NEVER happened in any car that I've ever owned.
What caused this and why?
I can't check it because it's after 10pm and it's still pouring out....what do I do now?
This sucks!

You did not mention type of vehicle. First thing that pops up is luggage rack (if equipped ) or satellite roof mounted antenna. Water won't run up hill. Good luck.

+1 for cellular antenna. Another common leak point is the sunroof drain tubes; they deatach or clogg.

start will the antenna if it is located above the headliner console. remove the light, unscrew the antenna and apply rtv to the antenna base and re-install.

06 Impala SS ...... leak stopped as suddenly as it began ..... next day rain continued but no leaking. Car was parked outside overnight with rain with no leaking the following morning. Weird!
