I just purchased the new Chevy 2.8 diesel Colorado, expecting a reliable safe car. Boy was I wrong. At 1100 miles the truck broke down. It's been in the shop for almost three weeks. its been in the shop longer than I have been able to drive it. I've purchased Toyota tacomas in the past, never have I had a problem like this. It's always great to buy a new truck and not have it work. The new Chevy Colorado diesel truck is a terrible purchase. Save your money, and buy something that is reliable and safe.

what is "broke down" exactly? Sorry to say but nothing new is near the quality it used to be, every manufacturer has issues. If you don't believe me go hop onto a Toyota forum and I guarantee theres people griping on there.
