I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 10 bolt 8.6 373 gov lock rear differential I recently exploded my rear trying to replace it very difficult to find one at the price that I can afford however I was thinking of changing the rear that entered the insert for the rear to a different ratio and disconnecting the four-wheel-drive can anybody help with telling me what is interchangeable or how I can go about doing this
