Thumbs down Spam From Site

Is there anyone still maintaining this site? I sent an email about a spam problem and have not heard back.

Well, this has to do with spam rather than posts.

Not a spam question, but I am seeing ALOT more ads in the last few weeks. My work machine is a Windows 10 (hate it) and the ads really bog it down when I open the forum or look for new posts. My other forum addictions are not being slammed, so I assume it's a change here on Chevy.

If you are having a pop-up ad issue, it may be your browser settings, a lack of a needed browser add-on or even your OS (I wouldn't use Windows either). I wish I could offer more help for you. I use Debian and Firefox with the necessary ad-blockers and have no real issues that way, except for the ads along the edges of the forum display.

Of course the real issue may be as you implied; that there is little desire for the administrators to address issues.

Thanks.
