Trailer brakes not working with my 2005 Silverado
Electric trailer breaks are engaging when not applying pressure to my truck break. The trailer wiring is correct so ithe issue is with my truck. Any ideas on how to fix this?

check for power at the brake controller pin at the 7pin connector. the pin outputs are labelled on the cover....if you have power there when the brakes aren't applied....there is a short to power on this wire or the brake controller is wired in wrong.
