I have seen some questions on the forum lately asking how to post text links and how to post images. As a reminder, here is a quick rundown.

• Images and Links are posted within tags call BB (Bulletin Board) Code.

• There are normally two tags needed when posting simple items such as Images and Links: Opening Tag, and Closing Tag.

• Opening Tags normally look like this: [IMG] or [url]. Opening tags often contain things other that the BB code itself. For instance, if I were to post a text hyperlink, the path would be contained within the opening tag like this: [url=https://chevroletforum.com/forum/] The [b]=[/b] character must be included between URL and the destination of the hyperlink and the ] bracket must be placed directly after the destination so the code is interpreted and parsed correctly.

• Closing Tags are used to close off or end the code. Closing tags always contain a / (slash). When posting a link, use the closing tag [/url], when posting an image, use [/IMG].
