Hello,
The alarm in my girlfriend's Aveo randomly acts up. Is there some way of disabling it? A fuse pull, perhaps? It will lock by itself and then go off at random times. It's highly annoying!
Any help is appreciated- a Google search brought me nothing.

Without looking at any info about the system in the car, I know that if the hood is opened, or any door for that matter, the alarm will not set. You could try grounding out the wire going to the hood pin switch to prevent the alarm from setting.
If there is an annoying light on the dash telling you the hood is opened, get back at us and i'll look a little further into it
