Sonic will be coming up on the first free GM oil change , shortly . Think GM schedules a free tire rotation , also . Any more free services as part of that program ?

PS - When I drained the oil , I used Mobil Super Synthetic Dexos , GM will most likely use their GM Dexos . Which , as I understand it , is a synthetic blend . Is switching back and forth between full synthetic & a synthetic blend going to cause any problems ?

Dexos one generation 1 was a synthetic blend oil, dexos one generation 2 is a full synthetic oil, dexos one generation 2 full synthetic oil has been available since late 2015

Dexos II / GM dexos2 is the new oil specification for for all GM group vehicles from May 2010 on-wards. GM Dexos 2 oils are fully backwards compatible for older vehicles and replaces and exceeds both the GM-LL-A-025 and GM-LL-B-025 engine oils specifications.
