Which brand of oil and oil filter?

I'm about to change the oil in my Aveo5 for the first time and I was wondering what brand of oil and filter everyone was using.

BTW I bought the car used.

in my 08 i'm using Mobil 1 5w-30 and AC Delco filter. been using it from first oil change @ 500 mi. now have 34,000 mi. only one time i had to use a Wix's filter. oil change about 6-7000 mi.

I use to use Mobil 1 with Mobil 1 filter, but now I use Amsoil and their filters. Either one is good, but I prefer Amsoil.

Pennzoil Synthetic 5w30 is what I use in my truck, my stepdad always ran conventional in his 89 Chevy Silvy, got 287,000miles before rebuild, 235,000miles before the rings blew. I'm kinda partial.
