Default CAM Sprocket to Camshaft Alignment

looking for information on installing camshaft sprockets onto the camshafts of a 2010 AVEO (1.6 liter ECOTEC DOHC). There are keyways on the ends of the cams but the sprockets don't have matching keyways. Camshafts may have moved a hair while the sprockets were off since camshaft locking tool was not used. Engine has VVT (variable valve timing).

Links to pictures of front and rear intake procket and mating surface of the intake cam are attached.
