Default Door alignment 07 Tahoe

Has anyone noticed if the back of their passenger-side rear door doesn't line up flush with the rear fender? Mine is aligned all the way around, except from about the door handle down. I was just curious if this was a typical panel alignment issue, or a unique problem on mine. Maybe it improves mileage or something...

Mine lines up all the way around except for about 6 inches right behind the door handle. It re-aligns below that and is fine to the wheel well. I would never have noticed if you hadn't asked so maybe mine isn't as bad as yours.

Thanks for the reply. Mine is pretty bad compared to what you described, but the door still touches the seal. Mine sticks out about an 1/8th inch from the handle through the fender flare area. I'll get the dealer to look at it, but I worry that they can make it worse than it is...

Thanks again!
