Default Door alignment off -- 2002 s-10 cc

Just recently my drivers side door alignment is off. I've looked at the latch and it seems to be OK, but it still won't close all the way unless I lift up on the door itself. Can I fix this at home or do I need to take it in?

inspect the door bushing for movement. If there is play in the bushings the door alignment will be lower at the striker.

grasp the bottom, outer edge of the door with both hands and pull the end of the door up. the should be no play in the door bushings located in the door hinge/pin area.

if this is ok, you can lower the striker.
