I was driving from hot springs to wichita for christmas, and about 3/4 of the way there, I started to get error code 9 on my head unit. It is the oem that came with the car.
The player was hot and when I turned it off for a bit it started to work for a while and then started with the error code 9 again. would not play the aveo cd that came with the car. what is code 9? Has there been a problem with these units?

 

Hmmm. Sorry I didn't get to this post before now. No, as far asI know, code 9 is a reader misalignment. Try using a lens cleaning disk.
