I have a 2014 Chevy Sonic LTZ that I just bought in June 2024. I've been having it throw a code 77 multiple times, where the instrument cluster doesn't work (no speedometer or fuel gage!) and neither does the radio or a/c.
I've contacted the Lindsey Chevy dealership I bought it from multiple times with no help. They either don't have a tech available or any loaner cars for me to leave mine. It's my only car and I need something to get to and from work so i cant just leave it.
they've used the hand held code reader but never get back to me about the results. The code was going away after about a day previously but now it's been 4 days and it's still showing. I can't even drive it now because I'm afraid I'm just going to make it worse.
Has anyone had this code before or have any advice for next steps? I'm so frustrated and it's even harder when the dealer won't help me.

 

Did you ever figure this issue out? I'm having the same problem with my Sonic and can't seem to find the solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.
