Default Idles to fast in gear

Hi my father bought a 2011 Aveo new. Eco-tech motor standard shift...since the day he brought it home he has said it idles to fast when in gear.He has taken it back to the dealer and they say all is fine however today he showed me that in gear it will pull my drive (at least a 15% grade for 150 yards) and he never touched the throttle yet when we got to the top he pushed the clutch in and it went right to 800 rpm from about 1000 rpm...any body tell me why? Thanks for your time..forgot to ask has anyone else had this problem?

what did you look at exactly? codes don't always set and there is a possibility that maybe there aren't any issues.

I read for codes is all I did and got none... The dealer said that it was ok....should it do what it does instead of stall?I never saw a standard shift that wouldn't stall in low gear without throttle ..do the all do this? Does anyone else have this happen?

What does it do when you un-plug the Air Idle Control valve , if it has one . Does it have an idle adjustment screw ? Is the throttle operated by a cable or is it " fly by wire " ?

God bless
