Default Leaking water onto floor and white smoke from AC vents

I have a 2015 Sonic LT sedan with 15k miles. About a week ago I started noticing hot water dripping onto the driver's side floor (when turning right) from the center, hitting my right foot when it's on the accelerator. When I turn left it drips onto the passenger floor. On my way home today, after it was sitting idle with the AC on for about 1 hour, some white smoke started coming out from the AC vents. I do not see any notification lights on the dashboard. I have a service appointment tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone else experienced this first and can give me an idea of what it might be before I go into the dealership.

Just in case anyone finds this on Google, it turned out that the drainage outlet from the AC condensate was blocked up with debris. The heater core was fine.
