purchased '06 Aveo5 LS with 10050 mi on it.Very satisfied so far (1 month),how are the belts holding up in this year?Any premature slipping.Hard to believe GM would produce an engine that requires a major expense like that and still smile when the sell it to you.I didnt find out about it until I read the service instructions.Any input appreciated.

A lot of people suggest changing the timing belt around 40,000 miles. I have over 41,000 miles on mine ('04) and haven't had any problems, but I'm probably going to get it changed soon.
