What has anyone else's experience been?
Was there much difference in a cost saving to add in replacing the Timing Belt when having the Drive belt, Oil Pressure Switch and Water Pump replaced VS doing the Timing Belt later?

One Chevy mechanic says it wouldn't save us any money because he looked it up in the Chevy Procedures book which shows it would be, in addition to $730.00, an extra $300-400 to add in the Timing Belt because it is much harder to access even after getting to the water pump, etc.

Call some other shops in your area and ask for prices.
