Replacing bulbs
I am trying to replace the bulb in the rear side marker light. The manual says to reach up inside the rear bumper to access the bulb. Not possible. How do you do this, or do I need to pay the mechanic?
Actually, it's a little more than this. The right rear side maker lens got hit, by a rock or car door or something. So it basically fell out of the socket. I ordered a new one since the dealers don't stock any Aveo parts, not even an air filter.

This got me thinking on how to replace the bulb since once the lens assembly is snapped in, it doesn't snap out.

Same question applies to the front marker lights. Manual says to push the fixture forward. You try that and let me know. This is frustrating. You think the dealer knows? They tell me they've never done it before.

Your Aveo is sharp! Very nice!

Thank you for the link. I finally got the right PN and ordered a couple of them. Also it is a shame that the manual does not give industry standard bulb numbers. I need a bulb, I gotta order it from GM, when it's probably a stinking 194 or 168. The front side lights are 168, and they CAN be removed from the outside by pushing forward and lifting from the back....
