So I was driving out in the cold, hit a patch of ice, and although i was moving slowly I slid into a curb and damaged my front driver's side. Now the rim isn't even dented the axle isn't broken because the wheel still spins when gas is applied. The Steering wheel spins freely now however, and the wheel doesn't turn with the steering wheel, and about half the time the passenger's side doesn't turn... I haven't had a problem like this before so I am kind of at a loss as to what happened. Any help that could be offered, even just ideas that i can look into further would be much appreciated.
