Towing my 2013 Sonic
I bought the 2013 Sonic to tow 4 down behind my motor home. I read in the manual that I would have to remove the DLIS fuse. I didn't realize it was under the dash in a most awkward place for a retired senior to have to reach. I have to lay on my back on the ground, use needle nose pliers, can't see where it goes back in, and struggle, struggle, struggle! Yikes! Did I buy the wrong car? I can get it out okay, but re-inserting it is really hard. I went to the service department where I bought it, and also asked for assistance from the Chevy site, but no helpful responses.
I imagined something like that might be possible, but didn't know how to ask for it... I imagine the Chevy service department would have such an electrician. I'll ask. Thanks.
Here's what I'm going to do when I get around to it.
A homemade version can be made a lot cheaper, but this is how it works.
