Default Chrome Reverse & Baby Moons

You all are gonna think that the old guy has slipped a gear, but I want to put 16" Chrome wheels on my 06 Impala. I have the factory mags and they are ok except for the curb I clipped (yes it happens) and a I have a couple of ugly dings. Had to get an alignment and need to buy a couple of replacements (Phoenix Wheels) has them. Then I saw a guy here in ABQ that had chromes and I was hooked again on retro. Wheel Vintiques has what I want, but I don't want the tire to exceed the wheel well lip (about an inch recess on the stock wheels). Two questions: 1. Will the enclosed wheel make the brakes run appreciable hotter? and 2. I'm concerned about caliper clearance. Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions are appreciated.
