What should I expect to pay for an extended warranty on a 08 Tahoe?

 

it would depend on mileage and length of time. i bought a 5 yr warranty with 50000 miles on a 2010 and it cost a grand for the extra year and 12k miles. from gm

contact them in mid month and dont deal until end of the month. they try to make sales numbers and offer discounts.

I got my GMPP here and my dealer said it was cheaper than what he'd have to pay. Got my 84 mo, 56K mi, and $0 deductible for $1,200 on my 2010.

I would not advise anyone to get any other extended warranty unless they're positive that the company will be around by the end of the warranty.

i normally buy the warranty through my credit union, so there is a little safety in the purchase.

just looking for some ballpark figures of what i'm getting into.

 

Does your credit union stand behind the warranty if the insurance company that issued it goes under?
