Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Looking for a 01.-.02 k2500 suburban with 6.0.
What kind of fuel mileage are owners getting 65.-.70 highway, and town?

Welcome to the forum.

Not many of those on the forum but I'd guess about 8-10 city and 12-15 hwy.

Might try searching the web for what the EPA numbers were. I can guarantee that it won't be any better than that.

I just sold my 2000 2500 with the 6.0 about a month ago. Gearing plays a big part here. I think there were two gears in these trucks, 3.73 and 4.10. I had the 4.10's... Mileage was a consistent 12.5. 3.73's should get you a couple more.

On a more positive note, if you need to tow something, these vehicles are TOWING MONSTERS!

Hope this helps...
