My 01 Chevy Trailblazer won't start unless I disconnect the battery and reconnect it. I had the battery and alternator checked out and they were good. The first time it happened I tried to boost it but unfortunately that didn't work. All my interior lights and anterior lights work when my truck won't start. When I turn the switch there is no turn over just silence. I don't know what the problem could be. Please help

 

Sounds to me like you are having to reset the ecm.

 

What is the ecm? I not too familiar with automobiles. Just the basics
