Default 02 air issues

i have a 02 tahoe with air problems. the front air is cooling very little.90 degrees, the rear air is a little better but not cold, 80 degrees. checked the freon, have 40 psi on low side 240 on the high side. downstream of the orifice, piping is ice cold going into evaperator, but warm on the outlet side of the evaperator. pinched of the heater hose to block hot water, didn't make any difference in air temps. any thoughts on what may be going on would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum.

I believe the liquid line going into the evap. should be warm/hot and the line coming out going to the compressor should be cold.

That differential (40-240) seems quite high to me.
Possibly your Dryer is stopped up.
I know that systems vary to some extent, but
numbers like 35-135 would seem more appropriate.
