Default 02 Suburban wont start

Hey guys just a quick question. I have an 02 Suburban that ran out of gas the other day and after putting about 5 gallons back in it, it will not crank. The battery died but even after jumping it the starter will turn but no response from the motor. I have blead the schrader valve and still no response. I also checked all the ign fuses in the fuse box and also turned the key to the on postion and checked to make sure the fuel pump came on and it did. If anyone has any idea what may cause this or any helpful tips they would be much appricated. Thanks in advance.

Spray some starter fluid down the throttle body and see if it runs for a few seconds. If it does then the fuel pump is bad.

jwl126 Welcome to the forum...

if the tank was ran dry its very possible it took out the fuel pump...fuel is also used to cool the pump which runs continually when the engine is on..

when the igniton is turned on but not cranked do you hear the fuel pump come on and prime? if not check the fuel pump fuse..
If the fuse is good its very possible the pump is out...
if you do hear it then check the fuel pressure, needs to be above 55psi...
