We have a 2004 Suburban. It has the flex fuel system. The fuel pump went out a month ago. We had it replaced (and filter) and it ran like a top. Last weekend it wouldnt start again. It starts for just a breif second then dies and thats it. This time it has plenty of fuel pressure. I can spray some gas in the throttle body and it stays running. Any suggestions?

 

I usually find a junkyard and replace worn out parts with new ones. Does your 2004 look anything like this Suburban here>?

 

possibly fuel pressure regulator. maybe?
