Could someone explain what Autoride does exactly? And if vehicle doesn't travel that comfortably, could there be a problem with the autoride? I have 65,000 miles on my Tahoe should I have it checked by a GM technician?

Welcome to the Tahoe forum.
Here's some info (need to scroll down a little)http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...rmation-20160/

Might want to have yours checked. Does it ride differently now than it used to?

Thanks for reply. That is the answer I was looking for. I just bought the '02 Tahoe on March 30th so I don't know how it use to ride. I will take it to a GM technician to have the autoride checked to make sure it is functioning properly.

A apologize but I didn't notice you had an '02. The info may be different as I think those links were talking about the '07+ models.
