Apparently the positive battery cable was loose and disconnected the circuit. The vehicle was turned off then we noticed the connection issue. It was connected without removing the ground. Now the radio has power showing the clock but no radio functions are working. Also on the climate controls it will not allow the air to flow through the floor or defrost vents.

 

unplug all and reset, there are several ways to do it, but best practice is to remove both cables and walk away for an hour.
