Default 03 moaning rubbin while turning low speed 4 wheel drive only

This is a new to me 2003 Suburban LS with 100k on it. I put it in 4 wheel today and had a moaning rubbing noise while turning at low speeds sharp turns (parking lot, turning onto another road after slow down, reverse) Anyway it does not happen in 2 wheel drive. The steering also feels a little restricted in 4 wheel when turning too.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

all 4wds do that when you put it in the tansfer case locks the front together and when you turn the outside wheel wants to spin faster than the inside but the halfshafts restrict it

Don't put it in 4wd on pavement, wet or dry. You will damage the 4x4 components.
