Hi everyone, first time doing this not just here but EVER, so bear with me. I have an 03 Tahoe with 202+ miles flex fuel and 4le80 trans my service 4wd comes on almost every time with no indicator lights for the buttons on the dash (replaced the button stack on 12-26 with dealer part). lights will come on after some time driving however does not switch out of 2hi and no noise to indicate that its trying to do anything, is there a relay im missing. Im sure im leaving out some info but i will check this often so ask away

 

might be the actuator getting stuck. they do this over time. and welcome to the forum. being that it's your first time. i'm sure it won't be your last. there's a ton of info and helpful members. not just here but mostly any forum. that's what makes them work

 

Thanks for the info it turned out to be the actuator motor on the transfer case itself, replaced and runs just fine thanks again for your help
